bmp that came with my Vaio for their desktop background, another was a. Also mentioned next firmware in a month or so. Someone in there mentioned they talked to Sony and it was expected to be in on 1.6, but 'didn't make it in time'.

It was somewhere in this Roxio forum - I think the big PS3 playback thread.
#Cyberlink powerdvd 7 full update#
I have been looking over these forums, AVS forum and blu-ray forum and don't see any mention about PS3 inability to play the BDMV blu-ray discs being fixed on the next update - do you happen to remember where you saw that? I got the BDPS-1 just so I can play my DVDit Pro HD authored discs and yes, they do look great on playback. I'm currently testing on my Vaio AR290 with BluRay (with the hobbled menu situation) and moreso on Sony's set-top DVD player (I believe the BDPS1) - with the most current March firmware. This seems to make it point more towards one manufactuer/developer, but which one? More frustrating things in the sea than this, but it's still something that needs an answer.īTW - these won't work on PS3 (current version 1.6), but there is a rumor that they will on the next firmware update. My video card on my Vaio is an Nvidia 7600 GT - odd that we're seeing this between two different video card companies.Īre you using powerDVD (BD or Ultra editions) to view these files? I'm using Ultra. Also, what set top player will play this disk since I can't see it on the PS3? Specs are ATI 1950 graphicscard, e6600 core2 duo, 2G memory, MSI 975x platinum Mother board, XP Pro. The audio file on the menu olays perfectly, and when I select each "underline" the chapter plays perfectly.

I am playing back with a Sony BWU-100A (the disk won't play at all in my PS3), and all I can see is the purple graphic at the bottom of each button (no text). I used the "stationary wedding wide" template. The menu is a black screen except for the "underline" graphics. Help me please Sir! Thanks in advance! Edited Maby Don W I just produced a blu-ray disk with the same problem mentioned in this thread the menu is a black screen except for the "underline" graphics. I am using DVDit PRO HD now because of the Blu-Ray support. I am totally new to DVDIt, I use Vegas 7 and DVDA4. Tarkken, perhaps you can find a similarity in your setup with Sheurdm. Many others are doing just fine playing DVDit Pro HD discs with Power DVD BD. he had attributed it to his VGA connection. I have played discs created with Pro HD without any problems. Cyberlink has a downloadable checker for that. Everything has to be HDCP compliant including monitor, video card etc. I have Power DVD Ultra and am playing BD-R, BD-RE on the comuter.

I can't seem to find a trial version of that product - I think the trial was for the PowerDVD package.ĭoes anyone have any advice? Have you been able to play BD-R/BD-RE discs (BDMV) created with DVDitProHD using their PowerDVD Ultra package, or should/must I find the PowerDVD BD edition 7.2? If it's the BD edition, how may I find it/purchase it, etc. I could be wrong - but I certainly wanted to check.

However, I thought I saw someone mention that the 'Ultra' version wasn't playing BD-R/BD-RE BDMV content. That's fine if it's my only solution - I'd obviously like to pay less if another package is available. The only mention I see of BluRay (and even HDDVD) playback is their PowerDVD 'Ultra' package - it's $99. However I can't seem to find that specific product anywhere on their site. It was recommended that I use Cyberlink's PowerDVD BD edition 7.2.

I have a Sony Vaio that is currently not playing back BD-RE's (I haven't tried BD-R's yet) with the standard software (InterVideo WinDVD BD for Vaio).
